Peter Rickenback, AIJP, sent us a note from the Zeppelin Study Group in Sleaford, UK. Our estimated friend, AIJP-member 1687 and collegue John Duggan - he was Leader of the Zeppelin Study Group and editor of ´Zeppelin Post Journal - died in hospital on 26 October.
Duggan was internationally known by his many publications and book about Zeppelin Post. We still had plans to publish some more articles about the subject (parahyba provisional) together. Now this chapter is closed.
The collegues of the study group wrote: "As you know, John had suffered a serious illness a couple of years ago and appeared to be recovered well from that in spite some setbacks. He was admitted to hospital in Oxford as an emergency two weeks ago where he was diagnosed with lung cancer and he died there shortly afterwards."
Fare well John, we won´t forget you!
