17.01.2018 - New philatelic antiquarian bookshop PhilShop soon to be launched

(wm) As of 25 January 25 of this year, the German publishing house Phil*Creativ in Schwalmtal will expand its well-maintained supply of philatelic literature thanks to the launch of a large online antiquarian bookshop. It will offer almost 4,000 titles, covering almost all areas of philately and postal history. Antiquarian books, bibliophile titles and literary rarities stemming from the 19th and 20th century will be available, just the kind of material that collectors, philatelists, researchers and other lovers of philatelic literature may have been looking for since a long time, like monographs, auction catalogues, magazines, journals or research studies. Collectors will be able to close the gaps in their libraries by paying a visit to either or The material offered is priced reasonably, with their current market value in mind. Prices start at 8 to 10 euro per title. On the other hand there are literary rarities - even those that are on offer – that will have to yield amounts three- to four-digit amounts. The focus is on philatelic literature in German (amongst others about philately and postal history), but titles in English and other languages will also be available. Every month up to 200 new titles will be offered, so it’s advisable to visit the aforementioned websites regularly.
