07.09.2012 - Special hand stamp to celebrate ancient German horse market
The Bietigheim Horse Market is a well-known supra-regional beer festival in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

It takes place directly under the Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge. It attracts several hundred thousand visitors every year. Despite this large crowd of visitors the festival has retained the charm of a local festival. This year, like in earlier years, a special stamp has been in use on the occasion of the festival. The hand stamp shows a so-called "Hungarian Post" (see picture); it concerns an equestrian performance on two horses that has its origin in Hungaria. As always, there were also special envelopes on sale, one of them showing the aforementioned “Hungarian Post”. The stamps on the envelopes have been cancelled on 1 and 2 September 2012.
