The German stamp auction house of Pumpenmeier, based in Kirchlengern, has something special for those who are interested in Prussian postal history. On 26 February of this year, auctioneer Bernd Jurkewitz will bring one of the largest collections of Prussian letters under the hammer. The auction includes approximately 1.000 covers, many of them bearing hand stamps that were so far unknown or are very scarce. All items are presented in a special auction catalogue that Pumpenmeier has distributed around the end of January. The auction lots can also be viewed and examined on Pumpenmeier’s website: www.pumpenmeier.de
