The 2010 edition of Sberatel, the largest collectors fair in Central and Eastern Europe, which was held on 2, 3 and 4 September 2010, has been very successful. The fair took place at the PVA Centre Letnany (Prague) and attracted more than 12 thousand visitors. There were 230 exhibitors present.

This thirteenth edition of the fair offered booths of, amongst others, the postal administrations of Germany, Slovakia, France, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Bosnia, Herzegovia and the United Nations. There was an extensive and impressive exposition of the Czech Postal Service.

In their press sheets the organisers called it an honour to be able to welcome many leading figures from the world of philately, like the United Nations Postal Service’s Managing Director Robert Gray and Mr. Wolfgang Maassen, President of the International Association of Philatelic Journalists AIJP.

The organisation was especially successful in attracting the attention of the media: there was coverage from all major Czech news media; both public and commercial stations carried items about the event in their evening news, like TV Nova, public ČT 24, Z1 and TV Barrandov. Furthermore, major internet news portals and radio stations, including the number one channel in the country, Český Rozhlas, paid attention to the fair and reported about it.
