On 8 May it will open its doors: the world philatelic exhibition LONDON 2010 (also called ‘The Festival of Stamps’), in England’s capital, London. Expectations are that the event will attract a large number of domestic and foreign exhibitors and visiting philatelists. The exhibition can be visited until 14 May 2010 and you will find it at the Islington Business Design Center, 52 Upper Street, Islington (London). There is free admission on all days, with the exception of the opening day, 8 May 2010. On that day, a rather stiff £ 10.- will be charged to everyone wanting to gain entrance. However, after consulting the President of the Organizing Committee of 2010, Brian Trotter, the AIJP has managed to ensure that those members of the AIJP that are able to present a valid membership card of the AIJP will have free access on the opening day as well. In this regard it is important that the membership card carries a valid ´2010’ seal. The AIJP wishes to thank the organizers of LONDON 2010 for there friendly gesture.
