12.01.2018 - AEP appoints a new president

(rvs) At the annual congress of the European Academy for Philately (AEP), which was held during MonacoPhil on 2 December 2017, President Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi (Italy) stepped down for personal reasons after having been four years in office. His successor was elected unanimously by the convention: it is the well-known Swiss philatelist Jean Voruz (Geneva). Jean Voruz has two vice-presidents at his side: Patrick Maselis (Belgium, first vice-president) and Rainer von Scharpen (Germany, second vice-president. New members on the board are Maurice Hadida (France) and Claes Arnrup (Sweden).
